Year 2 Cyprus Field Trip 2025 - Final Payment

Cyprus

£427.00

Description

The Cyprus fieldtrip is a 7-night/8-day course of teaching, learning, and research that primarily takes place in the island’s divided capital city, Nicosia, but also includes excursions encompassing other parts of Cyprus. The trip begins with a series of orientation and briefing activities, providing insights into the political, cultural, and social life of the island and its complex and contested sovereignties. This is followed by a period of independent, student-led research.

Detailed Description

28 March–4 April 2025

The trip combines staff-led teaching and learning activities (including walking tours and NGO briefing sessions) with independent, student-led research at sites within Nicosia and across the island of Cyprus. Students will work with staff before and during the trip to design and undertake their research projects in thematic areas identified by staff. Accommodation is provided on a bed-and-breakfast basis in shared twin rooms in Nicosia’s four-star Classic Hotel.

The cost of the trip includes coach travel to Gatwick, return flights with British Airways (departing from Gatwick and returning to Heathrow), internal transfer within Cyprus, and two whole-group meals.

Students should budget for daily lunches and dinners and will need to arrange their own travel home from Heathrow Terminal 5 at the end of the trip.

PLEASE NOTE: The total cost for this trip is £855.
