School of Biological Sciences Field Trips

The cost of accommodation and meals (full board) and additional tuition fees for the duration of the course is over £800 per student. Whilst the School will cover the cost of additional tuition fees, you will be required to pay £320 to help cover your full board during the course. You will also have to pay your own travelling costs to and from Millport and no reimbursements will be made. This is a field-based module that will run during the summer vacation in 2023. Course dates: 30th August to 8th September 2023. The location is the FSC Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae off the west coast of Scotland.

You are paying the deposit for the course. This deposit is non-refundable except in the event of a national lockdown that prevents travel, or a local lockdown that prevents travel from RHUL to Malaysia. In that circumstance, RHUL will cancel the trip and your deposit will be refunded. Please be aware that in any other circumstances, we will not be able to refund your deposit if you fail to pay the full balance by the due date.
